Love Jozi, a fashion label i’ve been watching for a while is now online. they have a bunch of super cool stuff, ranging from clothing to collaborative wallpaper. i’m a fan.

the Mac store in Rosebank has used International Graffiti artist Faffi as inspiration for their new range, and decked out the store accordingly. it’s awesome – they’re even selling Faffi vinyl toys in store. very progressive for a main market cosmetics brand.

consumer collaboration tours (Colab)

we do some fantastic work with brands that want consumer input right from New Product Development stage through to marketing, and our latest project took Priscilla and I to Joburg, Pretoria and Durban. I love working on projects like these because it means getting to meet all the crazy cool people in our grass network, and actually spend time with them while still getting creative on some very forward thinking brands.

and it’s this beautiful old house at 52 Bompas Street, Rosebank, near to Fournos bakery. we share it with an ad agency and a production company. very cool since it’s central but still has that working from home feeling, plus a big old oak tree and a pool.

Says an SA Creative Collective that hails from Jozi called TeamUnCool“. here’s some of the stuff they do:

chinxxx is an electronica dj and producer it would seem (described on the site as OI-LEE – drawing + flash animation + live visuals + kungfu kicks + huggs) and has all these rad pics and gifs on her myspace. worth a peek.

sa cool kids: nonhle tema

a while ago we were approached by Legit to identify a super cool up-and-coming sassy lady to become the face of the brand. after going through a whole lot of so-so’s, we all decided on Nonhle, who’s currently bubbling up all sorts of fuss from her role as presenter on Channel O, and all the fun stuff that goes with that, like hanging with Hollywood:
